As XDefiant rounds the corner for its release, players worldwide are curious about how much space the game will consume on their consoles and PCs. With XDefiant's release confirmed for May 21, 2024, players now have the option to pre-load the game's data into their preferred platform. The officially released preload sizes for all the platforms are as follows

PC – 30.07GB
PS5 – 30.07GB
Xbox – 30.08GB

The PC version of the game will take up to a total of 30.07 GB, while some users have reported that their download sizes have been anywhere between 30.04 and 30.07 GB. That said, players can expect the file size to expand as newer content gets added to the game with its debut.

The PS5, and in fact, PS4 platforms will share the same game download size as the PC, which is 30.07 GB. Players must ensure they have adequate space to download the game before actually initiating the process. Furthermore, it will be wise to leave at least 15-20 GBs extra in case of file expansion during installation.

Xbox users will see a negligible increase in the game's preload size, totaling up to 30.08 GB. In case you do not have access to storage on your module, you can attach an external hard drive and download it there. This will provide you ease of access and allow you to play it across other compatible Xbox devices.
