How to Romance Triss in The Witcher 3

Geralt of Rivia can romance either Yennefer or Triss in The Witcher 3. These two are just the main options, though, as the protagonist can have one-night stands with multiple other characters. What to do to romance Triss in The Witcher 3

You must complete three separate quests and choose the correct dialogue options if you wish to romance Triss in The Witcher 3. Listed below are the three quests you will need to complete:

• The Play's the Thing
• A Matter of Life and Death
• Now or Never

"The Play's the Thing" comes first, and it is a main quest. You don't have to choose any additional dialogue on this quest to bring Triss closer to Geralt. However, finishing it is mandatory since you will only get access to the next ones after this has been dealt with.

Once "The Play's the Thing" is done, you will be able to start the "A Matter of Life and Death" quest. This is also nothing special, and there is only one moment where you need to make the 'right' choice to romance Triss in The Witcher 3.

Towards the end of the quest, Triss will run out into the garden, and Geralt will follow her into a maze. Once Geralt and Triss come face to face, you will get an option to kiss Triss under the fireworks of the Masquerade Ball. Make sure you kiss her to complete the first step of romancing her.

Now, you can start the "Now or Never" quest. To finish this quest, Triss will ask Geralt to help her evacuate all the sorcerers from Novigrad through a boat. Once this is done, Triss will also board the boat to leave Novigrad. You will now get the chance to ask her to stay.

Choose "Stay with me" and "I love you" to successfully romance Triss in The Witcher 3. However, the job's not done yet. You need to make sure that you don't cheat on Triss with Yennefer to ensure she stays with you when the game ends.

You are also recommended to complete all quests in Novigrad before you head out. This is because advancing the story can fail Triss' quests.
