It’s been almost a year and a half since its launch, and many players are now wondering if it is still available on Xbox Game Pass — unfortunately, the answer is no.

When was Lies of P removed from Xbox Game Pass?

Lies of P exited the Xbox Game Pass on March 15, 2025. The game hit the service in 2023, and Microsoft has since removed it. This change came shortly after Neowiz announced its first major DLC, Lies of P Overture. Lies of P officially left the Xbox Game Pass on March 15, 2025.

Those hoping to replay or start the game ahead of the new content must buy it separately. The removal comes alongside other titles being pulled, including Yakuza 5 Remastered and Yakuza 6 The Song of Life.

Serving as a prequel to the acclaimed 2023 soulslike Lies of P, this DLC delves into the final days of Krat, expanding on the dark origins of its steampunk world and characters.

Developed by Neowiz, Overture places you back in the shoes of P, Geppetto’s deadly puppet, and delivers around nine hours of challenging soulslike gameplay, complete with eight intense boss battles and the same twisted reimagining of the Pinocchio fable.

Although the game is not on Xbox Game Pass, it’s still worth checking out if you’re a fan of tough, rewarding combat and dark storytelling. With new content out, now is a great time to pick it up if you missed it the first time around.
