The Royal Horn Bow is the only bow-type ranged weapon in the Lies of P Overture DLC. It has 75 base damage with a D scaling in Motivity (strength) and a B scaling in Technique. (Dexterity). As such, if you are putting most of your points in wielding Technique-based weapons, this is a must-add to your arsenal of ever-growing Lies of P weapons.

However, an interesting fact about this weapon is that its in-game description categorizes it as a dagger-type that does slash damage. Whether this is a typo or an intended “feature” remains to be seen, since the developers might have done so to simplify the damage it does in line with other weapons in the game, without adding new weapons and damage types, and more complexity.

This weapon has two fable arts - Dodge Shot and Patient Shot. Moreover, you cannot disassemble this weapon like you would with others. This feature makes the Royal Horn Bow one of the most unique in the game.

The Royal Horn Bow location in the Lies of P Overture DLC is in its second area - the Krat Zoo. After starting the Lies of P DLC and going through the frigid outskirts, you will be able to enter the zoo. Once you activate this area’s first Stargazer - Hall of Adventure, head to the right of the mammoth statue and up the stairs.

Continue heading through the balcony, where you will find many new types of puppets, and you will soon enter an exhibition room on the left. Defeat the enemies here and go through the archway on the right. Here, you will be surprised by an enemy coming in through the window.

After defeating it, head straight down the ladder to find another big room like the one with the Stargazer. Head up the wide stairs and to the right to reach the balcony, where you will find a chest containing the Royal Horn Bow in the Lies of P Overture DLC.
