From inciting his viewers to raid fellow streamers to getting arrested in Paris, Jidon "JiDion" has cemented his legacy as one of the most popular internet provocateurs and trolls. The Houston native has always been making headlines, for good and bad reasons, for almost five years, thanks to the sheer controversial nature of some of his content.
The 22-year-old has proved himself to be one of the more creative content creators who constantly pushes the envelope when it comes to the content he produces. From using his now-famous pseudonym “DeMarcus Cousins III” to giving out the N-word pass to strangers on the street, JiD has come a long way, yet he remains true to his identity as the biggest menace that America has probably ever seen.

Identifying JiDion's five most controversial pranks
1) L+Ratio
Arguably not one of Jidon's wiser moments, one of the biggest controversies of 2022 came after he decided to incite his viewers to go raid fellow streamer Imane "Pokimane" stream and leave the now-infamous "L+Ratio" message on her chat. This came a day after DeMarcus was announced as a Twitch partner, which was ultimately revoked after Twitch decided to perma-ban JiDion for orchestrating 'targeted harassment of fellow content creators.'
Things took a turn for the worse when Jid's fans decided to reach out to Tyler "Ninja" to help their boy get unbanned. This led to Ninja and Imane getting into a bitter feud, with Poki accusing Tyler of abetting sexism, something that already thrives on Twitch. JiDion recently revealed that Twitch denied his ban appeal, and he remains to be perma-banned to date.
2) Sneaking into TwitchCon
Following his perma-ban from Twitch in January 2022, Jid decided to push the boundaries of socially acceptable trolling once again and ended up crashing the Amazon-owned platform's coveted flagship convention, TwitchCon. While navigating the 'forbidden grounds' of TwitchCon Amsterdam in July 2022, JiDion allegedly harassed several popular Minecraft YouTuber TommyInnit's fans while they were queuing up to meet Tommy.
The British YouTuber uploaded a video accusing and lashing out at Jid for what he deemed as unacceptable behavior, which prompted the Houston native to share his side of the story, stating that he had only made a comment about the number of girls that had lined up to meet the British YouTuber.
3) Clapped Lisa
The next controversial prank on this list was undertaken as part of JiDion and British YouTuber Niko Omilana's series known as 'The Biggest Menace.' The Biggest Menace featured Niko and Jidon going mano a mano in a series of challenges that were given to each other in a bid to see who folds and refuses to carry out the task that was assigned to them.
While the series contains controversial challenges, from interrupting a PGA tour event to invading the pitch during an India v England test match, JiD's attempt at hanging a painting of his face at the Louvre easily takes the cake. The challenge ends with Jid getting arrested by the French police and staying in jail overnight because of his success at putting up the 'Clapped Lisa' next to the original painting of the Mona Lisa.
4) Valentine's at the University of Houston
The next entry on this list ended up with JiDion getting arrested for criminal trespass alongside fellow YouTuber Damilola Onakoya, who entered and disrupted a University of Houston class for recording a Valentin's Day prank video. This marked the third time the Houston Police Department had arrested him despite only featuring in a technical role for this video in question.
As per a probable cause affidavit, five men, two of whom carried cameras into the class, one of them being JiDion, before Damilola entered the fray and attempted to give gifts to the professor. After failing to heed the professor's request to leave the classroom, police were called to help take out the YouTubers.
5) US Open and Wimbledon Pranks
Wrapping up this list are two controversial pranks that share related venues; both happened at iconic Tennis courts. During the same month in which JiDion crashed TwitchCon Amsterdam, the young American was kicked out of Wimbledon and permanently banned for his disruptive antics after he continuously kept blowing an airhorn during a quarterfinal match between Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic.
Just a couple of months down the line, JiDion found himself getting evicted from the Arthur Ashe Stadium and the US Open in September 2022 for getting his haircut during a match between Nick Kyrgios and Karen Khachanov.
