New CS2 release notes were released on April 26, 2024. They bring multiple bug fixes to the game, along with some map updates for the recently added Dust 2. Valve has changed the map pool of Counter-Strike, and players have welcomed the return of Dust 2 wholeheartedly. However, many are also sad to see Overpass being replaced.

Apart from a new map, Valve also added a left-hand mode to CS2. Now, players can switch hands easily with a single toggle button.

The April 26 release notes focus on removing all the errors present in the game. Valve prioritized multiple issues related to grenades in this update. Bugs like being unable to throw the same grenade twice and exceeding the maximum grenade count were rectified.

As for map updates, the developer fixed spots in Dust 2 and Inferno, where the weapons and grenades were falling through the map, rendering them unfit for player use.

Let's take a look at all the bug fixes and map updates in the CS2 release notes (April 26).
