Popular Call of Duty streamer Nicholas "Nickmercs" has responded to FaZe Rain's allegations that he has not contributed enough to the esporting organization in a recent stream. Nicholas is one of the biggest Warzone streamers on Twitch and has been part of the FaZe Clan since 2019. Rain, who has been beefing with his parent org for some time now, accused the streamer of not doing enough for the group in a recent Instagram story, causing quite a stir in the community.

Before starting his normal stream, Nickmercs addressed the allegations against him and started by saying that he has a lot of respect for FaZe Rain and others who have been part of the org from before his time. Nonetheless, he had to talk about people questioning his integrity:

"I have to respect those who came before me and I have to respect all the work and the time that they put in into this organization and this Clan. And I'm gonna do that, I'm not gonna respond too crazy to him. I don't really have a lot to say to the guy. But the one specific part that I'll address, he kind of talked about my ethic and the work that I put in, the sh*t that bring to the table in FaZe clan."

The streamer noted how he has maintained his position as one of the top Call of Duty creators on Twitch, expounding on how hard he has worked for his reputation:

"I'll say this, I'm so proud of us. I'm so proud of this community, I'm so proud of my team, I'm so proud of my f*cking damn self man, I work my f*cking *ss off. People can say what they want to say man, but I've been up on top of the game for f*cking years man...

Nickmercs then pushed back against the rhetoric posited by FaZe Rain, explaining why his views were "cringe":

"Um, so for him to come at my ethic, you know, the work that I put in, I think it's I think it's a little foolish. I think it's a little, a little bit cringe, you know? But at the same time, I can take a step back and kind of understand that he's probably going through a lot..."

What did FaZe Rain accuse Nickmercs of to evoke such a response?

Nordan "Rain" is a popular Canadian YouTuber who has part of the FaZe Clan for years and has been at the forefront of certain members who have actively criticized the group for not being fair with its personnel. Last year, he even alleged that the "company sold out the brand."

Nickmercs, while a more recent joinee of the org, became a member and co-owner, and it appears the move was not popular with creators such as Nordan. In his Instagram stories from yesterday, he alleged that the Twitch streamer was hired to repair the organization's image following the TFUE scandal.

Rain wrote:

"You know FaZe recruited Nick Mercs in 2018 [sic] as 'damage control' (their words not mine) to the TFUE situation and those idiots have been paying him $1M a year."

He further alleged that Nickmercs has not done enough, posting:

"I couldn't think of ONE memorable moment w [sic] NickMercs and Faze. Like literally not one."

In his stream addressing the issue, the Twitch star has recognized that some of the members are not happy with the management and told his viewers that he has no intention of getting into the controversy:

"I feel bad for the things that he's been through, I feel bad that him and some of the guys feel the way they do about the clan. I don't intend or want to get in between them or FaZe Clan and what they are doing."

However, as mentioned before, Nickmercs did take offense to the allegations from Rain, saying he had not made enough contributions to FaZe.
