Felix “PewDiePie” continues to be one of the biggest content creators on YouTube, with more than a hundred million subscribers on his main channel. A user on Twitter was seen making the following statement regarding PewDiePie:

Fans on Twitter discuss PewDiePie’s relevance as a content creator

A Twitter thread created by the user Maw (@TheEbonyMaw) was seen gaining traction on March 12, 2022. The tweet mentioned how the Swedish YouTuber was seen making headlines a few years ago, but everything around him now appears to have gone silent.

Maw went on to clarify that they were not targeting the YouTube star by hating on him. They simply wanted to know why no one talks about PewDiePie anymore and wanted to hear the public’s opinion regarding the matter.

As the tweet started to gain some momentum, a number of fans and PewDiePie’s viewers began to respond to the thread. One user, RoonKolos, mentioned how it was a good thing for the content creator to not make headlines ever so often.

Some mentioned that it would be fine for the YouTuber to call it quits as he has had a very good run on the platform and has established a very big name for himself.

Another Twitter user mentioned that the YouTuber lacks a presence on Twitter and keeps personal matters away from the public eye.

A few folks on Twitter stated that the “subscribe to PewDiePie” gag was too long lived.

Another user made a very good point about the debacle with T-Series and how the YouTuber became less of a controversial media figure post the drama.

There were many more reactions in the form of replies to this thread where people spoke about their stance on the subject.

This thread on Twitter continues to gain traction as it sits at having more than three thousand likes and over hundred and thirty retweets. Meanwhile, the YouTuber continues to upload content on a regular basis.
