During a livestream on December 19, Twitch star Imane "Pokimane" spent some time interacting with her fans when she noticed a viewer seemingly criticizing her for wearing "way too much makeup."
Imane responded to the comment by suggesting that men should instead compliment women on their makeup. She explained her reasoning with an analogy, comparing makeup to art in a gallery.

Imane took the opportunity to express her thoughts about men commenting on women's makeup, stating:
"I want to tell you guys something. If you are a man... I don't know why I'm laughing, I'm sorry. That's not funny. It's a very serious condition. Listen, if you're a man and you have the feeling of commenting on a girl's makeup, please only do it if the comment is positive."
