Wuthering Waves adds 120 FPS support in version 1.2

The latest Wuthering Waves 1.2 update now includes 120 FPS support for PC. According to an X post by user Wuthering_Wives, the game incorporates a DLSS frame interpolation mode to increase its framerate cap.

Now, there are some caveats to implementing the technology. Firstly, it works on an augmented principle exclusive to the RTX 40 Series GPU. Additional frames are generated using a machine-learning algorithm and merged to create a smoother visual experience.

Hence, it doesn't translate to an increase in frame rate but an accelerated effect that can smooth the gameplay experience. Currently, it is accessible only on some PCs that have the required graphics card.

Here are the system specifications required to run Wuthering Waves at 120 FPS:

• Graphics Card: Supported NVIDIA RTX 30 series, NVIDIA RTX 40 series, or AMD RX 6000 series, AMD RX 7000 series.
