Wuthering Waves Cartethyia: Should you pull for her?

Yes, Cartethyia is definitely worth summoning from the Wuthering Waves 2.4 banner. This Aero-DPS can properly utilize the erosion effect, which outshines the frazzle effect in an adequate team composition. Activating her Resonance Liberation, Cartethyia transforms into Fleurdelys, sacrificing half of her health.

The tradeoff grants Cartethyia the ability to deal massive damage to targets and generate conviction. Also, Fleurdelys has separate movesets and methods of applying erosion. Furthermore, her attacks generate Conviction, which she can use to reactivate the Resonance Liberation.

She unleashes a massive slash with her sword, dealing damage to any targets along its path. The erosion stacks on the enemy determine the effectiveness of the special Resonance Liberation. Cartethyia can nuke bosses with this ability, making her the best Aero character in the current roster. The HP tradeoff mostly works in her favor, as she can also launch aerial attacks and enhance Resonance Skill.

Cartethyia also gains different buffs depending on her sword shadows. She deploys three distinct sabers on the ground via Basic Attacks, Heavy Attacks, and Resonance Skill. It is ideal to transform into Fleurdelys once all the enhancements are available. This brings some complexity to her gameplay.

Not to forget, she has access to a few teams and is quite reliant on Ciaccona. Aero Rovers can be a substitute for the 5-star support DPS, but you have to rely more on quick swaps to apply maximum erosion stacks on targets. Using them together is crucial to maximize Cartethyia's damage output.
