Sebastian Vettel secured his seventh race victory in a row after producing another spectacular performance in the Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday.

Vettel’s teammate Mark Webber who started the race on pole position had to settle for a second place after a torrid start which saw Vettel and Nico Rosberg overtake him in the first corner.

Rosberg came in third for Mercedes with Romain Grosjean just behind him. Fernando Alonso managed to finish fifth despite starting tenth on the grid. Force India’s Paul di Resta surprised a few fans as he came in at sixth. Lewis Hamilton scored more points for Mercedes with seventh while Felipe Massa, Sergio Perez came in eight and ninth respectively. Adrian Sutil capped a good race for Force India as he completed the top ten.

Kimi Raikkonen had a horrible time as he was pushed to the last spot of the grid before the start of the race for damaging his car. The Finn failed to recover from that as he got out of the race in the second corner.
