#4.Important race for Kimi Raikkonen and the fight between midfielders.

F1 Grand Prix of France
Indeed a rare sight to see Kimi smiling

This race happened to be the kind of race where Kimi didn't do his traditional "bwooh" because right from the start Raikkonen had been so busy that he didn’t seem to be bored at all unlike tracks like Monaco and Montreal where he didn’t enjoy driving.

Another good thing was Kimi showed that he is yet not finished after a brilliant and deserving podium finish this weekend. Charles LeClerc who was so impressive this entire weekend has been proving since the start of the season that he can give Kimi a run for his money however after today’s performance Ferrari may have to think again if the Finn starts producing similar results for the Italian team.

As a viewer, a competitive race is always a delight. What many people were calling a “going to be boring race” ended up as being the most interesting race this season especially in midfield group where any position wasn’t permanent for long. Kevin Magnusson scored a brilliant P6 in his HAAS after qualifying P9 and in mid-field, consistent performance from Charles LeClerc has been impressive, a great prodigy and an asset to F1 who ended up in P10. Sadly, both the Force India had to retire otherwise the fight in the midfield would have intensified.

Fans are happy that after so many boring races finally, Paul Ricard offered some good racing.
