F1 penalty points: 5 biggest delinquents before 2025 Italian GP

The F1 penalty points system tends to often gain traction when a driver is closer to the dreaded threshold of 12 points. If a driver ends up reaching or crossing this threshold, he gets banned for a race.

This was the case last season when all of a sudden Kevin Magnussen's driving became a topic of discussion as he got closer to the 12-point mark. Unfortunately for him, he would hit the 12-point mark and would then be forced to sit at home for a race.
