Max Verstappen and his 11 F1 penalty points were the key topic of the conversation for quite a few this weekend. Fortunately, the driver made his way through the weekend without incurring the wrath of the stewards and hence being forced to sit on the bench for a race.
George Russell did, however, make the perfect point when it came to Max Verstappen and him potentially facing a ban. The Mercedes driver said that the F1 penalty points structure is placed to keep the driving standards above a threshold, and the ban is only a consideration when a driver makes too many rash moves.
As the F1 Canadian GP has come to an end, Max Verstappen stays safe and at 11 points. What's the status of the rest of the grid? Let's take a look.
