F1 Penalty Points: Drivers' penalty points midway through the season

The F1 penalty points system was surprisingly a topic of discussion this season. One of the reasons why that happened was, of course, Max Verstappen and the fact that he had accrued 11 penalty points.

The Dutch driver has not had a good season in general, but it could have gotten a lot worse had he picked up a penalty point in Canada.

As part of the F1 penalty points system, if a driver ends up reaching the threshold of 12 F1 penalty points, he gets banned for a race.

As we've reached the midpoint of the season with the summer break, where do the drivers stand in terms of penalty points? Let's take a look.
