Carlos Sainz and Rebecca Donaldson began dating in the summer of 2023 after the former Ferrari driver parted ways with Spanish journalist Isa Hernaez, whom he had dated for over six years. They were first spotted in Milan in June 2023, and then in August that year at a golf course in Amsterdam.
From then on, the couple has made multiple paddock appearances throughout the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Even though she often arrives at the paddock to support her boyfriend in racing, her major support for the F1 driver has come during Sainz's appendicitis surgery.
The Williams driver was sidelined due to surgery last year, and Donaldson reportedly supported him through his recovery in his home city, Madrid, the Spanish capital. Speaking about his relationship with Donaldson last year, Sainz joked that she would marry her in Las Vegas.
