Ferrari won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the hands of former F1 driver Robert Kubica. This victory under the private entry led fans to take to social media for the Italian outfit and the Polish driver's masterclass at the endurance classic.

The Italian giant suffered a torrid qualifying session for the race in France earlier in the weekend. The factory-backed No. 50 and No. 51 cars were initially the faster cars in the race and held the top positions.

But all three Ferraris soon looked set to dominate the race as they were running 1-2-3 for a considerable portion of the race. Despite the advantage of the factory-backed outfits earlier in the race, Kubica decided to fend off instructions from the team.

This, in the end, helped the Maranello-based squad get the victory at Le Mans as the Porsche Penske outfit finished runners-up, which would have inherited the lead if the Polish driver had conceded the position to his teammates earlier. However, a situation like this did not arise, and the Italian squad made it three in a row with the help of Kubica, Yifei Ye and Philip Hanson.

This led fans to take over social media with both the Italian giant and the 40-year-old's praise:

Here are a few more reactions:

"Kubica has done it, from a stolen Ferrari F1 career to a Le Mans win in a Ferrari hypercar, you love to see it," one netizen wrote.
"KUBICA MY GOAT," another netizen wrote.

Meanwhile, Formula 1 also joined in on the celebration and congratulated its former F1 driver on achieving the impressive feat:

The No. 83 car took victory despite having a lower performance ceiling in comparison to the team's factory cars.

With the No. 83 entry winning the premier class of endurance racing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it etched its name in the history books. The Robert Kubica-led entry became the first customer team to win the Hypercar class.

Moreover, it was the first time in 20 years that a customer team won in the top league, which showcased the resilience among the trio of drivers to have managed such a feat. This result came amid five cars finishing on the lead lap, and the No. 6 Porsche Penske entry finished just over 14 seconds behind the leader.

This helped Ferrari in its pursuit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans victory and continued its winning streak since the start of the 2025 WEC season.
