Manchester City and Premier League legend Sergio 'Kun' Aguero is the seventh highest-earning player in the English top flight.

He is Manchester City's record goalscorer in the club's 126 years of existence and is also the highest-scoring foreign player in the history of the Premier League.

Aguero lodged 16 goals and four assists in 24 Premier League games this season, the second half of which was hampered by a serious knee injury. The Argentine remains one of the greatest forwards in the game, and his records are more than deserving of his high wage.

#6: Anthony Martial (Manchester United) - £250,000 per week

24-year-old French forward Anthony Martial has had the best season of his career in 2019-20, bagging 17 goals and seven assists in 32 games.

He is the third highest-earner in the Manchester United squad, taking home £250,000 per week. United fans will feel much better about Martial earning that huge sum after he proved his value to the team all over again this season.

The Frenchman is a key member of the Manchester United attack that has thrived under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the Premier League.

#5: Mesut Ozil (Arsenal) - £268,750 per week

The first member of the top five wage earners in the Premier is Arsenal's forgotten man Mesut Ozil. The German secured a huge payday a few seasons back when he was at the peak of his powers. However, since securing his bag, he has dipped to new lows and is no longer a part of the Gunners' first team.

The 31-year-old playmaker has only 1 goal and 2 assists in 18 matches this Premier League season. He is now on the final season of his contract and is extremely unlikely to be handed a new deal at the club.

#4 Paul Pogba (Manchester United) - £290,000 per week

Manchester United's second-highest earner is 27-year-old French midfielder Paul Pogba. A World Cup winner with France, Pogba is the star man in United's midfield, although he hasn't had the best of Premier League seasons.

The first half was marred with injuries amidst talks of a transfer away from Manchester United. He had a much better second half of the season after the arrival of Bruno Fernandes, with whom he formed a formidable partnership at the heart of United's midfield. He finished the Premier League campaign with 1 goal and 4 assists.
