The rash tackle

The Manchester United vs Brighton fixture was not at all expected to end up at 3-2, with Brighton snatching the glory. Mourinho's lack of trust in his defence during the transfer window was correct.

Bailly was the main man in Jose Mourinho's defence alongside Lindelof. But a series of errors made by Bailly resulted in Brighton's goals.

Talking of the penalty he conceded, it seemed like Bailly had no idea of Murray's position. That was the only foul Bailly committed in the game, and it proved to be the most disastrous one for Manchester United.

The matchday had a lot of other bad performances. Honourable mentions:

#1 Tommy Smith (Huddersfield Town)

#2 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal)

#3 Mohamad Diame (Newcastle)
