Welsh international midfielder Aaron Ramsey will not be extending his Arsenal contract. The ball is in the court of the Arsenal board now and they have to decide whether to sell Aaron Ramsey in January or let him leave free in the summer. Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff in 2008 and soon established himself as a very creative and hardworking midfielder in the Premier League.

Arsenal had withdrawn the offer they had for Ramsey to sign and it is understood that Unai Emery didn't see him as a player who could carry forward the new playing style which he has brought in at the club. Also, the fact that Ozil and Ramsey are too similar in nature for both to be playing in the starting 11 made this an easy decision for the Gunners.

Ramsey has some great memories at Arsenal with the best ones being scoring winning goals in two FA Cup finals and other spectacular goals. His earlier career was hampered by injuries but he is still young enough to make a major impact at the new destination that he selects.

#3. Juventus

The ultimate goal for Juventus after winning 7 league titles in a row would be Champions League

Juventus have had a spectacular start to the season and many experts believe that they might as well have secured the league title by now as Napoli are 6 points behind and we are not even at the halfway mark in the season. But the ultimate goal for Juventus after winning 7 league titles in a row would be Champions League and they would welcome any world class player who could improve the squad.

They made a great statement of intent by signing Cristiano Ronaldo and are looking to upgrade the squad further. Semi Khedira is past his prime and Blaise Matuidi will soon find it hard to get into the playing 11. Ramsey looks like the perfect replacement of these midfielders in the long run. Given that Miralem Pjanic is also pretty young and an able no 10, Ramsey could get the box-to-box role in the Juventus midfield.

#2 Liverpool

Henderson and Fabinho are just not creative enough to have an impact on the CM role. Ramsey can be the perfect boost
Henderson and Fabinho are just not creative enough to have an impact on the CM role. Ramsey can be the perfect boost

Jurgen Klopp's fast counter attacking could suit the hard working Ramsey. Over the years Ramsey was seen as the only Arsenal player whose energy didn't drop even after his team was bullied by some of the powerhouses of world football like Barca and Bayern. Ramsey was always seen working hard to create something out of nothing and his eye for goal is there for everyone to see in the Premier League.

Liverpool, though having competent midfield options in Milner, Keita, and Fabinho would look to add someone with an amount of Premier League experience that Ramsey has. Lallana doesn't look like he has a future ahead with the Liverpool team given his constant struggles with injury and Henderson and Fabinho are just not creative enough to have an impact from the CM role. Ramsey can be the perfect boost to the midfield that could feed the attacking trio of Mane-Firminio-Salah. His through balls and one-touch passing can be an asset for Klopp's Liverpool project.

#1. Bayern Munich

Ribery, Robben, and James Rodriguez have all past their prime and Ramsey could be the X-factor

Two years back no one would have thought that Ramsey could make it to the playing 11 in the Allianz Arena. But times have changed and Bayern Munich who sit 5th in the league table need to freshen up the aging squad. Ribery, Robben, and James Rodriguez have all past their prime and Ramsey could be the X-factor they are looking for, some much-needed motivation.

Ramsey could fill the void left by Arturo Vidal at Bayern and can prove to be a great balancing act for the team comprising of attacking midfielders like Muller, Alcantara, and Serge Gnabry.

It is not known whether or not head coach Niko Kovac would still be at the club by the time Aaron Ramsey joins the Bavarians but the removal of Niko Kovac and addition of Ramsey to the squad would be symbolic to the freshening up of the Bayern team.
