#2 Paul Pogba to Juventus
It was a dreadful season for Manchester United in the Premier League 2018/19. In a season where most of their players were underperforming, the club and fans expected their marquee signing, Paul Pogba to step up and take the lead. However, despite some impressive performances, the French star was not able to live up to the expectations. This led to the midfielder being at the center of the harsh criticism thrown towards the club.
Nevertheless, Pogba did put in some amazing shifts time and again. The French star contributed to 27 goals- scored 16 and created 11 this season, which is an impressive figure for center-midfielder. However, the World Cup winner has now shown his desire to leave the Red Devils for a new challenge somewhere else.
It was reported that Juventus is the preferred destination for the 26-year-old as the Italian champions are working hard for a success at the European stage next season. Juve have already appointed Maurizio Sarri to take things forward and it is fair to say that the Turin-based club could be the ideal club for Pogba.
During his time at Juventus previously, he had grown to be one of the best stars in his position. However, United seem unwilling to let go of him at this moment.
