Robert Lewandowski is the most prolific striker on the planet at present. He has been in staggering form over the past few seasons. The Polish international broke Gerd Muller's record for the most goals scored (40) in a Bundesliga season this past term, netting 41 goals in 29 appearances.
Lewandowski is a complete striker. He has great dribbling skills, positional awareness and the ability to dominate aerial duels. The 33-year-old can shoot with either foot and is also a great header of the ball.
In the 2020-21 season, Lewandowski scored seven goals from headers. His presence in the box means that defenders cannot afford to switch off or have a moment's lapse in concentration.
#2 Edinson Cavani (Manchester United)
It took a then 33-year-old Edinson Cavani to join as a free-agent for Manchester United to understand how much they'd missed an out-and-out striker. The Uruguayan international's centre-forward play is replete with sumptuous strikes with both feet as well as some excellent headers.
With Cavani on the teamsheet, United full-backs Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw were encouraged to swing crosses into the box. The former Paris Saint-Germain player made the difference for the Red Devils in plenty of games thanks to his heading ability.
Cavani scored as many as seven headers in the 2020-21 season. That means that of the 17 goals he scored across all competitions last term for Manchester United, more than a third of them were headers.

It's not up for debate really. Cristiano Ronaldo is indomitable when it comes to aerial duels. When he had first broke into the scene, the Portuguese international was starting to turn heads as a mercurial winger at Manchester United. He improved his game immensely in a short span under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson and burgeoned into a prolific goalscorer.
To become the top goalgetter for the Red Devils, Ronaldo had to add more skills to his arsenal. He was soon leaping over the shoulders of opposition players to produce thumping headers. It's a skill that he has worked on and improved throughout his career.
Ronaldo's leap, hang-time, timing and precision make him arguably the best header goalscorer on the planet. The Juventus forward's aerial ability comes in quite handy for his side while defending set-pieces as well.
