#3 Memphis Depay (Lyon to Barcelona)

One has to admire how Memphis Depay has rebuilt his career after a poor stint at Manchester United.

A highly-rated talent during his PSV Eindhoven days, Depay struggled to establish himself at Manchester United. The Netherlands international joined Lyon in January 2017, and has thrived in France. Depay was Lyon's star during his four-and-a-half seasons at the club, making 178 appearances in all competitions, scoring 76 goals and providing 56 assists.

The 27-year-old deserved another chance at a top European club and he has now got that at Barcelona. A versatile forward, Depay is a confident character who has what it takes to thrive at his new club.

#2 Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United)

The saga is over. Manchester United announced recently that they had agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United's pursuit of Sancho started last summer, with reliable reports confirming that he was the club's priority signing. However, Borussia Dortmund's refusal to reduce the transfer fee saw the deal fall apart, but this time the Red Devils have got their target.

One of the best attackers in world football, Sancho enjoyed three excellent seasons at Borussia Dortmund. Manchester United have been on the search for a right-winger for some time now, and the 21-year-old fits the bill perfectly. Sancho is currently with the England squad at the Euros.

#1 David Alaba (Bayern Munich to Real Madrid)

Real Madrid's decision to let Sergio Ramos raised plenty of eyebrows, but they have already signed a quality replacement in David Alaba.

A highly-versatile player, Alaba made 431 appearances for Bayern Munich, winning ten Bundesliga titles and two Champions League titles. Capable of playing as a left-back, centre-back, in midfield and on the wings, the Austria international is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world.

A player of his quality is very rarely available on a free transfer, and Real Madrid have done well to acquire his services. The 29-year-old enjoyed a good Euros campaign and will be keen to get started.
