#3 Ethan Ampadu (Sheffield United)

Like fellow Chelsea loanees Loftus-Cheek and Gallagher, Ethan Ampadu's current side is struggling in the Premier League. Sheffield United look set to play in the Championship next season.

The Wales international struggled for game-time last season at RB Leipzig, but has been a consistent feature for Sheffield United this season. He has played as a centre-back and in midfield, and has done well given the turmoil surrounding the club at the moment.

The 20-year old was highly-coveted when he decided to join Chelsea from Exeter City in 2017, and it is understandable why. A strong, physical player capable of playing in multiple positions, Ampadu could be an useful option to have for Tuchel and Chelsea.

#2 Marc Guehi (Swansea City)

One of the best centre-backs in the Championship this season, Marc Guehi has flourished under the management of Steve Cooper.

Guehi joined Swansea City on loan from Chelsea in January 2020, and such were his performances for the Swans that his loan deal was extended to cover this season. The 20-year old is a strong centre-back with a good reading of the game, who came into wider view when he enjoyed a good game against Manchester City in the FA Cup recently.

None of Chelsea's centre-backs have performed at a consistent level this season, which could result in Guehi getting a chance to shine.

#1 Fikayo Tomori (AC Milan)

When Fikayo Tomori joined AC Milan on loan from Chelsea this January, it was not well received by fans.

The 23-year old had barely featured for Chelsea during the first half of the season and a loan move was deemed necessary. It is clear why fans were apprehensive about letting him go though; his performances for AC Milan have resulted in rumors that the club could trigger the £26 million option to buy at the end of the season.

The centre-back could certainly help Chelsea's defense. Good on the ball as well as a solid defender, the England international looks set to enjoy a good career and Chelsea should do all they can to keep him at the club.
