#2 Manchester City

Manchester City have started their title defence on a good note as they sit on top of the league table with a far better goal difference than both Liverpool and Chelsea. Pep Guardiola's men have scored 27 league goals while conceding just three.
While the Citizens do not have a permanent starting line-up, they sure do have a strong set of attacking players and an unimaginable squad depth.
The likes of Sergio Aguero, Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva, David Silva, Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sané represent a wide variety of different options from which to utilise in his starting eleven.
Kevin de Bruyne has been sidelined for most of the season thus far and has sustained another knee injury this week, but it has not created many problems for the sky Blues as they persist to score plenty of goals in the Belgian's absence. Their highest goalscorer to date is Aguero, with nine and two assists - although the Argentine himself is still not finished.
