#3 Jose Mourinho - AS Roma

One of the most controversial managers around, Jose Mourinho has his fair share of plaudits as well as critics. The Portuguese has enjoyed success at almost every club he has managed, although his departure from most clubs has seemingly always happened on a bitter note.

Whether it be his time at Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur, he has always left these clubs either due to the wrong reasons.

Mourinho's biographer Manuel Pereira claims this happened due to the Portuguese coach's demanding nature.

"That's just Mourinho. A very ambitious and demanding coach, but for some players after a certain time, too demanding. They will eventually relax and rest."

Indeed, Mourinho has often publicly criticized his players for their lack of commitment, with several players like Joe Cole, Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Tanguy Ndombele facing his wrath.

While his tough love worked well for some players, others had a fallout with him which ultimately resulted in poor performances and the manager's sacking.

Nevertheless, Mourinho has achieved huge success with his coaching methods, although his powers have seemed to dwindle in the last few years.

Now at Roma, the Portuguese will look to regain his mojo and propel the Serie A side to new heights.

Diego Simeone is one of the toughest and most demanding managers around, but the Argentine has certainly earned the right to do so.

Since arriving at Atletico Madrid in 2011, he has turned Los Rojblanintos in one of the La Liga powerhouses alongside Real Madrid and Barcelona. His team are known for their hard work off the ball and are one of the best defensive units in football.

During his 10 years at the club, Simeone has won La Liga and the Europa League twice. He also reached the Champions League final twice with Atletico, albeit losing to Real Madrid on both occasions.

Simeone's tactical setup demands a lot from his players and the Argentine manager ensures that he gets it on the field by drilling it into his players. Former Atletico Madrid player Filipe Luis said in an interview that Simeone demands the maximum in training.

"He demanded the maximum at every training session, everything with him is at the maximum."

Atletico Madrid continue to strive for success under Simeone and after winning La Liga last season, the Argentine will be hoping to repeat the feat this season as well.

#1 Marcelo Bielsa - Leeds United

One of the oldest managers that is active in football right now, Marcelo Bielsa is not known as "El Loco" (crazy one) for nothing.

The brilliant Argentine manager, aged 63, coached in seven countries before arriving in Leeds. His coaching style and training sessions have often been unique and different from others.

Biesla is very demanding with his style, prefers a man-to-man marking system and is always on the front foot, regardless of form, scoreline or his team's status.

The former Marseille manager's training sessions are also very demanding and intense, with many players talking about the relentless nature of these sessions.

His infamous 'murderball' training session is a hyper-intense, fast-paced practice match with no referee and no let-up, as the ball is constantly in play.

This shows the amount of dedication and hard work the manager demands from his players. His demands are certainly taxing on the players but no one can argue about them considering the amount of success he has found with his ideologies.

Even the likes of Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino are big admirers of the Leeds manager. Notably, Guardiola once drove 300 kms to Bielsa's home near Rosario to share thoughts on a game. No wonder why the Argentine is one of the best and most respected managers in the world.
