Ryan Giggs is regarded by many as one of the best footballers of his generation.
Giggs was an integral part of Manchester United's success under Sir Alex Ferguson and remains one of the most decorated players in football history. Primarily a left-winger, Giggs was known for his blistering pace on the wings and his ability to swing in perfect crosses.
The Welshman enjoyed great success with the Red Devils. Giggs won a mammoth 13 Premier League titles in total, as well as two UEFA Champions League titles, all with United. He is one of the most successful players to have ever graced the game, holding the record for the most PL assists as well with 162.
Giggs was appointed as the player-manager of Manchester United in 2013, after the sacking of David Moyes. He oversaw the club's management for the final four games of the season. He was later appointed as the Welsh national team coach in 2018 and remains their manager until now.
#2. Wayne Rooney - Manchester United

Wayne Rooney will be fondly remembered by Manchester United fans for years to come.
The Englishman is one of the most famous players to have ever represented the Red Devils. He spent a total of 13 years with the Manchester outfit and enjoyed widespread success.
Rooney was extremely versatile. Primarily an attacker, he was capable of playing anywhere on the field as required by the team. Rooney won five Premier League titles with Manchester United, as well as one UEFA Champions League title.
Rooney is also the club's record goalscorer, as well as England's highest-ever goalscorer. Rooney also holds the record for third most assists in Premier League history.
Rooney was appointed manager of Derby County in 2020 and has managed the club ever since.
#1. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a bonafide Manchester United legend.
The Norwegian has represented United on both sides of the touchline. He played for the Red Devils for 11 years before his eventual retirement in 2007.
Fans fondly remember him as the 'Super Sub' and the 'Baby Faced Assassin'. Solskjaer's most memorable achievement was his UEFA Champions League winning goal in 1999 against Bayern Munich during Manchester United's historic treble-winning season.
Solskjaer won several trophies with United as a player, including six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one UEFA Champions League. He retired in 2007 with 126 club goals to his name.
Solskjaer was announced as interim manager of Manchester United in December 2018, before eventually being confirmed as full-time manager the following year. His spell with the Red Devils has been mixed so far.
Solskjaer's most remarkable achievement so far is the 2020-21 UEFA Europa League campaign, where United finished as runners-up to Villarreal.
