Barcelona's second-highest goalscorer of all time behind a certain Lionel Messi, Cesar Rodriguez, spent much of his playing career representing the Blaugrana.

Rodriguez made his debut for Barcelona in 1939, but it was in 1942 that he became a regular for the team. A consistent goalscorer, Rodriguez played a crucial role in Barcelona's success, forming a dangerous attack with the likes of Laszlo Kubala and Eduardo Manchon.

The Spain international made 351 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona, scoring 232 goals. He won five La Liga titles with the club, as well as the Pichichi Trophy in the 1948-49 season when he scored 28 league goals in only 24 games.

#2 Laszlo Kubala

Cesar Rodriguez and Laszlo Kubala were part of the Barcelona team that won five trophies during the 1951-52 season.

Like Rodriguez, Kubala was renowned for his prolific goalscoring prowess. Regarded as one of the best players to have played the game, Kubala was an excellent dribbler and a good finisher.

Many Barcelona fans regard him as one of the greatest ever players to have played for the club.

Kubala was a regular of the Barcelona team since joining the club in 1951. He made 186 league appearances for the club, scoring 131 goals and winning four La Liga titles. He left Barcelona in 1961 and made subsequently played for Toronto City, Espanyol and Zurich before retiring in 1967.

After his retirement, Kubala embarked on a managerial journey. He managed Barcelona twice and also assumed the reins of Espanyol, Toronto Falcons, Al-Hilal and Malaga. Kubala also managed Spain and Paraguay in international football.

#1 Luis Suarez

One of the greatest strikers of the modern generation and arguably one of the greatest strikers in the game, Luis Suarez, is a modern-day Barcelona legend.

The Uruguay international has always scored goals at every club he has been at. After making his name at Ajax, Suarez joined Liverpool in 2011. His 2013-14 campaign at the club (31 goals and 18 assists) is widely regarded by many as one of the greatest individual seasons in the history of the competition.

His performances for Liverpool attracted the interest of Barcelona, who signed him in 2014 for a fee of £73.5 million. That would prove to be a smart acquisition by the club, as the striker formed a fearsome triumvirate with Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Suarez made 283 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona, scoring 198 goals. He won four La Liga titles and a Champions League title with the club but was controversially sold last summer to Atletico Madrid.

The 34-year old has not stopped scoring, though, scoring 19 goals in all competitions for Atletico Madrid this season.
