The Capocannoniere award is presented to the player who scores the most goals in a Serie A season,

Some big names like Omar Sivori, Michel Platini, Diego Maradona, Marco van Basten and Gabriel Batistuta have won the prestigious award, with Cristiano Ronaldo its most recent recipient.

The 36-year-old could do it once again this season. Juventus under Massimiliano Allegri should be a better unit than they were last season, so Ronaldo will get his chances. The Portugal international has always been a consistent goalscorer, and with Romelu Lukaku returning to the Premier League, the competition for this prestigious Serie A award has diminished.
