Perisic may not be the only man to come through the door at the Emirates this month. The Gunners are also looking to bring in a midfielder, and it looks like Denis Suarez could be their man.

Aaron Ramsey looks set to leave the club at the end of the season, with Juventus the most likely destination, and they have at times looked short in midfield, with youngster Matteo Guendouzi occasionally struggling in the centre of the park.

Suarez has never really made an impact since returning to Barcelona in 2016 after a spell with Villareal. He has played just 46 times in LaLiga since then, and he has never really held down a place in the Barca line up.

This is a deal that could be just a loan for now, but one with the option to make permanent at the end of the season.
