Moussa Sissoko scored twice on his home debut as Newcastle came from behind to beat Chelsea in a lively game that ended in a 3-2 victory for Magpies.
Jonas Gutierrez headed the opener for his side before Frank Lampard equalized for the visitors with an unstoppable shot in the 55th minute of the game.
Juan Mata curled in an excellent shot past Tim Krul in the 61st minute of the game which put Chelsea in the driving seat.
However, it took just seven minutes for the home side to equalize as Moussa Sissoko pounced on a rebound to make it 2-2.
As the game was heading towards a draw, Moussa Sissoko scored once again in the stoppage time to win all three points for his side.
