Barcelona is the only club in football history to win the treble of the UEFA Champions League, the league title (La Liga) and the league cup (Copa del Rey) twice. While the first one came during the 2008/09 season under Pep Guardiola, the second one was under Luis Enrique.

The Blaugrana thrived in all competitions they were involved in. The trident of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar ran riot. They won La Liga by two points against Atletico Madrid, defeated Juventus in the Champions League final and claimed their 27th Copa del Rey against Athletic Bilbao, with Messi scoring arguably the greatest goal in a cup final.

The greatest club side of the last decade, if not all-time

More often than not, Barcelona are the most dominant side in any match they play. This game, however, displayed a gulf in class against Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United side that was nearly unbelievable. It was poetry in motion. This Barcelona side was as close to unbeatable as it can get.

With all three of Pedro, Lionel Messi and David Villa getting on the scoresheet, Barcelona outclassed the Red Devils in every single area of the game. The duo of Xavi-Iniesta orchestrated the whole game and did not even break a sweat. It was just magic.

"Football by the gods", as the commentator aptly said.
