Lionel Messi is undoubtedly one of the greatest dribblers of all time and showed glimpses of his outrageous ability on the ball in the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League season. The Barcelona captain recorded five goals and two assists in six appearances in the competition, as the Catalan giants were eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain in the Round of 16.

Messi played just 540 minutes in the competition but completed a staggering 29 dribbles, indicating that he's aging like fine wine. Barcelona once again failed to deliver in the UEFA Champions League and have not won the competition since 2015, as Ronald Koeman's side were beaten rather comfortably by the Parisian giants.

Nevertheless, Messi didn't disappoint on the grandest stage and will look to make his presence felt in the competition next season, assuming he renews his contract at the club.

#2 Neymar | Paris Saint-Germain, 33 dribbles completed

Neymar continues to divide opinion, but it's hard to argue with the fact that he is one of the most entertaining players to watch on his day. The Brazilian is a gifted footballer and is arguably the best dribbler on the planet currently, with his performances against Bayern Munich a classic example of his outrageous natural ability.

The 29-year-old recorded six goals and three assists in nine UEFA Champions League appearances for Paris Saint-Germain, while he also completed 33 dribbles over the course of the season.

The Parisian giants were boosted by the news of his contract extension earlier this month, but Neymar knows he can only leave a lasting legacy at the Parc des Princes by spearheading PSG to the UEFA Champions League trophy.

#1 Kylian Mbappe | Paris Saint-Germain, 37 dribbles completed

Kylian Mbappe enjoyed an outstanding UEFA Champions League campaign with Paris Saint-Germain. The Parisian giants were beaten in the semifinals by Manchester City, but the 22-year-old played his heart out and couldn't have possibly done anything more for his side.

In 10 UEFA Champions League appearances, Mbappe recorded eight goals and three assists, while he also terrorized opposition defenders by completing a whopping 37 dribbles.

His crowning moment in the competition came against Barcelona, as he scored a stunning hat-trick at the Camp Nou to eliminate Lionel Messi and co in the Round of 16.
