Another club that are believed to be interested in signing him to provide competition for the Brazilian-born Diego Costa, Chelsea have shown intent when it comes to Alvaro Morata with recent reports claiming of a 39 million pounds bid being placed for him by the Londoners.
For one, it was Antonio Conte who sanctioned the purchase of Alvaro Morata right before leaving the Juve. Now, it seems as though he finally wants to right the wrong by trying to fulfill the promise he gave Morata while convincing him to join Juventus from Real Madrid.
If recent rumours are to be believed, Antonio Conte has apparently asked Chelsea to make a 39 million pounds bid for the Spain number 7. However, whether or not that amount of money will actually be enough to acquire his signature is an issue that remains to be seen.
