#3 Xherdan Shaqiri

Xherdan Shaqiri has enjoyed one of his most successful stints at current club, Liverpool, where he won the Premier League and Champions League title in his first two years.

The Switzerland international made a move to Anfield on a £13 million transfer from Stoke City. He served as backup to the lethal trio of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino, making 62 appearances in his two seasons at the club.

One of his most memorable matches for the Reds was against arch-rivals Manchester United in his debut season. The 29-year-old scored a crucial brace in Liverpool's 3-1 win. The Swiss would go on to score eight goals and provide nine assists in his first two seasons at the club. However, he has fallen further down the pecking order with the arrival of Diego Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

In his brief spell at Anfield, Jota has been hugely impressive, scoring 12 goals in 28 appearances for Liverpool. Shaqiri has made 21 appearances this season, including 14 starts from the bench. With playing time hard to come by, it might be time for Shaqiri to look elsewhere.

#2 Benjamin Mendy

The Manchester City left-back was among a raft of fullbacks signed by Pep Guardiola in his first few seasons at the club.

Since taking over the reins at the Etihad, Guardiola has completely revamped the City squad, with only four players standing from former manager Manuel Pellegrini's team.

The Spaniard, who has spent over £1.2billion on transfer expenditures in his managerial career, has shelled out over £300 million on defenders alone. Hence, it is no surprise that the Cityzens have an excess of world-class talent on their books.

Benjamin Mendy started off his Manchester City career as one of the regular starters but has lost his place to Oleksandr Zinchenko owing to persistent injury problems and a few too many defensive errors.

The Frenchman has featured on just 19 occasions for the Premier League Champions-elect this season, failing to nail down a starting spot in "big" matches. However, he remains one of the most talented full-backs in world football right now, and must look for more first-team opportunities, perhaps at a new club.

#1 Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham returned to Stamford Bridge at the start of the 2019-20 season - with Chelsea desperately understocked in the strikers' department.

The young Englishman made his debut for the Blues under Frank Lampard and enjoyed a solid debut season for the club. He made 47 appearances in the 2019/20 season, with 24 goal involvements (18 goals, 6 assists) to his name.

In the ongoing season, Abraham has made 32 appearances - including 14 as a substitute. However, he's still managed to get a decent return of 12 goals and 4 assists in his limited time on the pitch.

25 of Abraham's appearances this season have come under Frank Lampard - with the Englishman making just one start under Thomas Tuchel.

The 23-year-old is in a crucial phase of his career and might look for a new club in the upcoming summer transfer window.
