Given the fact that Manchester United are one of the biggest names in world football, one would expect that they have quite a number of international winners in their ranks. But that's not the case.
The number could have been much higher had France and Argentina not faltered in their recent tournament finals.
The Red Devils do, however, have some experienced winners such as Eric Bailly, Sergio Romero and Juan Mata on their books.
Eric Bailly is one of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League and is also fairly experienced in the international scene with the AFCON 2015 win under his belt.
Sergio Romero is quite a veteran with 91 appearances for the Argentine national team with the 2008 Olympics gold to his name.
Juan Mata's only fault was that his best football came during the heydeys of midfield maestros Xavi and Iniesta. Had he been born in a different era, he could have certainly been the main creative force for Spain. Even though he was a squad player, he did manage to rack up winners' medals in the World Cup 2010 and EURO 2012.
