Sergio Aguero played an integral role as Manchester City defended the Premier League title last season. In fact, it would've been very difficult for the Cityzens to achieve that without his goals. Moving forward, the Argentine doesn't seem to be affected by City's early stumble this season. He remains a top notch-attacker, banging in goals almost at will.
At present, the 31-year-old is tied with Tammy Abraham at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts with an incredible eight goals from eight games. Although he is yet to find the back of the net in Europe, his brilliance at the domestic level suggests that it is only a matter of time before he sets the UEFA Champions League on fire.
Aguero has played 650 minutes for the Cityzens this season and is averaging 0.8 goal per game. He has already recorded an impressive 34 shots across all competitions and 11 of them have been on target.
