A sizeable contingent from the 23 players selected by Tite for the Copa America have had fantastic European seasons in 2018-19, with many of them lighting up the Champions League with their scintillating performances. Liverpool Goalkeeper Alisson won the Premier League Golden Glove as well as Goalkeeper of the Season in the Champions League, playing a pivotal role as Liverpool won their 6th Champions League title.

Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino scored 16 goals and recorded 7 assists in a splendid season with the Reds. Ajax's 22-year-old electric winger David Neres caught the eye with his dazzling displays in the UCL, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists as the Dutch side had a magical run to the semi-finals. In fact, such is the embarassment of riches at Tite's disposal that he had to leave out Tottehnam's Lucas Moura and Liverpool's Fabinho, both of whom had standout seasons both in their domestic leagues as well as in the Champions League.
