Brazil will take on Bolivia in the opening match of the tournament. They will meet Venezuela and Peru in their other group fixtures. Head coach Tite will be hoping that his side will capture the cup on home soil.
In the 2016 edition, instead of the standard three groups format there were four groups. The four teams in all four groups play each other once and the top two teams progress into the quarterfinals. This is followed by the semi finals and finals.
