Real Madrid are not enjoying a good season so far and have been struggling in La Liga. They finished 2nd in the group stage too, behind Tottenham Hotspur.
PSG, on the other hand, are enjoying one of their best seasons. They are flying high in Ligue 1 and were brilliant in the group stages of the Champions League too.

The two collide tonight and here's why the French side is going to come out as the winners:
#5 Form of the two clubs
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are having contrasting seasons right now. One if struggling to stay in the Top 4 while the other is on course to win the title in record time.
The French side are unstoppable at the moment and there is no way the Madrid defence is going to be able to stop Neymar, Cavani and Kylian Mbappe in the form they are.
The trio have been scoring at will while the Madrid defence has failed to turn up in a lot of games. Meanwhile, PSG's defence has been rock solid and have had just one bad game this season – against Bayern Munich.
#4 Hunger for success
Real Madrid are back-to-back Champions League winner while PSG are yet to win the tournament. The players of the French side have done their best for the last 2-3 seasons but have failed to have that edge over their opponents.
With the team in such good form this season, they will be more confident than they were after their 4-0 win over Barcelona last season. They 6-1 loss must be still fresh in the minds of the players and they will ensure that such a thing does not repeat again.
#3 Real Madrid's woeful season
It has been a season to forget for Los Blancos, and that is a known fact to everyone. Currently fourth in the La Liga, they are unable to get results against mid-table sides, let alone the top sides.
At this rate, it is very difficult to see Madrid getting anything past a red-hot PSG. The French side has been demolishing its opponents left, right and centre.
While the game presents them a chance to correct things and try salvage some reputation, it will be extremely hard to execute the plans of a demotivated side in such a high-intensity clash.
#2 Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema set to start
Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema have been booed by the crowd more often than not this season. The two have been shockingly bad and one can't really see how they can perform against the PSG defence that has been rock solid at the back.
With every mistake they make, the Bernabeu crowd has been booing them and that will continue tonight as well. Though the crowd wants the best for its side, it only makes things much more difficult for the players.
#1 Neymar to prove his worth
There is no better stage for Neymar to prove his €222 million worth than against Real Madrid, the club with which he has been increasingly linked to joining in the future. Marcelo has come out in the open and proclaimed that he sees Neymar playing for Madrid in the future, and the PSG star could actually show his talent.
The Brazilian loves playing on the big stage and tonight, he's got the freedom to do everything he loves doing. It will be very difficult for Madrid to contain him, especially with Dani Carvajal out with a suspension.
