Gonzalo Higuain was forced out of Juventus with summer arrival of five-time Ballon d'Or winner and his former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo. 'El Pipita' therefore joined AC Milan on a season-long loan.

The Argentine time at AC Milan has not gone as expected as he has only managed five goals for a goal-shy AC Milan side that has gone four matches without scoring in the Serie A.

The former Real Madrid hit-man already played under the current Chelsea Manager Maurizio Sarri. He could relish the chance to be reunited with him at Stamford Bridge if the opportunity presents itself.

Higuain is a proven scorer and linking up with Chelsea would make him rediscover his goalscoring touch as he scored 91 goals in 146 appearances under Sarri at Napoli. The Argentine revealed his desire to play in the Premier League and a chance to join Chelsea would make him fulfill his dream.
