Regarded as one of the best wingers of his generation, Ryan Giggs is a legend at Manchester United.

A one-club man, Giggs spent his entire career with the Old Trafford outfit. The Wales international made 963 appearances in all competitions for the club since his debut in 1990, scoring 168 goals and winning 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League trophies.

A winger with good speed, technique and strong fitness levels, Giggs also managed Manchester United on an interim basis. He is currently the manager of the Wales national team.

One of the best players in world football, Messi continues to dominate discussions with his performances and with his uncertain future at Barcelona. The Argentina international's contract expires in the summer and there have been heavy links to Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

Messi has spent his entire career at Barcelona so far, making 771 appearances in all competitions and scoring 665 goals. It remains to be seen what the superstar will do come summer.

Maxwell played for some of the biggest clubs in the world and was a reliable left-back who never disappointed with his performances.

Maxwell made his name at Ajax, with his performances for the Dutch giants earning a move to Inter Milan. After three seasons with the Nerazzurri, he moved to Barcelona, joining Paris Saint-Germain after two and a half seasons with the Catalan club.

The Brazil international and superstar striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic enjoy a good friendship, and were teammates at Ajax, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. Maxwell won league titles with all the clubs he played for, and won the Champions League with Barcelona.

One of the greatest midfielders of all time, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi were two key players in Pep Guardiola's great Barcelona side.

A product of Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, Iniesta made his debut for the club in 2002. The Spain international would form a world-class midfield partnership with Xavi, with the two renowned for their passing ability. Iniesta was well-known for his technical ability, discipline and dribbling.

The 36-year old made 674 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona, winning nine La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies. Iniesta was also a part of the Spain sides which won two European Championships and one FIFA World Cup. He currently plays for Japanese club Vissel Kobe.

Like Pique, Messi and Iniesta, Dani Alves was part of the great Barcelona side under the management of Pep Guardiola.

One of the best right-backs of the modern generation, Alves joined Barcelona from Sevilla in 2008 for a fee of £32 million. The Brazil international impressed with attacking play, creativity and crossing ability, and was utilized higher up the pitch on certain occasions.

Alves made 391 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona, scoring 21 goals. He also made appearances for Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, and currently plays for Brazilian club Sao Paulo.
