#3 Ciro Immobile ties 61-year old Serie A record for most goals in a season after 21 games

Continuing his prolific goalscoring run in the Italian top-flight this season, Ciro Immobile's brace helped Lazio to a 5-1 home win over SPAL as the capital club returned to winning ways after seeing their club-record 11-game winning run come to an end in a 1-1 draw away to AS Roma last month.

In the process, the Italian striker notched up his 25th goal of the campaign in just 21 games, tying a 61-year-old record of Antonio Valentin Angelillo for most goals at this stage of a Serie A season.

Following the brace, Immobile leads Cristiano Ronaldo by six goals atop the 2019-20 Serie A goalscoring scoring chart.

Continuing his fine form in his debut season in Italy, Romelu Lukaku's brace at Udinese on matchday 22 helped Inter Milan stay within three points of league leaders and defending champions Juventus.

In the process, the Belgian striker became the first player to score 11 plus goals in his first 11 Serie A away games.

Lukaku's 16 goals from 22 games this season is only bettered by Immobile (25) and Cristiano Ronaldo (19).


#5 Edin Dzeko becomes the seventh player to score 100 goals for AS Roma in all competitions

Playing his 159th Serie A game in his fifth season with AS Roma, Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko's second half penalty against Sassuolo on matchday 22 made the 33-year-old the seventh player to score 100 goals in all competitions for the capital club.

Dzeko's tally of 100 consists of 72 goals in Serie A, two in Coppa Italia, and 26 in European competitions.
