Atletico Madrid’s Colombian player Radamel Falcao (L) and Barcelona‘s French player Eric Abidal attend a discussion panel at the International Sports Conference in Dubai on December 29, 2012. Falcao said on Saturday that he will stay with the Spanish club until at least the end of the season and that he has no immediate plans to move on.

Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao said on Saturday that he will stay with the Spanish club until at least the end of the season and that he has no immediate plans to move on.

“I feel proud when I find that big clubs want me in their teams,” he told reporters during a sports conference in Dubai.

He said a winter transfer was “not on the cards,” adding: “My aim is to achieve the ambitions of the club.”

“I will wait until the end of the season, and I don’t know what will happen after that,” he said.

In October, Falcao, a reported target for Premier League outfits Manchester City and Chelsea, said he was not thinking about leaving Atletico Madrid “at the moment”.
