Ballon d'Or 2017: Players ranked 10-6 announced
The Ballon d'Or ceremony is reaching its climax and France Football and L'Equipe are announcing the top 10 players now. There have already been some surprising inclusions in the rankings so far.
Karim Benzema has been ranked 25th ahead of the likes of Coutinho, Mertens and Jan Oblak. However, what is most surprising is the fact that Toni Kroos, who was arguably the best midfielder in world football last year was ranked as low as 17.
