How and why did Southampton ever let him go? Dusan Tadic has been in sensational form this season for Ajax and is one of the main reasons why the Dutch side won the league title after a gap of 4 years.
The Dutchman not only helped them win the league title, but he also took Ajax to the UEFA Champions League semi-final. The forward scored at the Bernabeu, but failed to contribute vs Juventus and Tottenham in the first leg. He did assist a goal in the 3-2 loss to Spurs but it did not help him break into the rankings.
However, following an impressive show in May with 3 assists and 4 goals in 4 matches, the Dutchman has finally got a place in the top 10. Winning the Ballon d'Or will be a difficult thing for him and #8 might be the highest he gets to this year.
