Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has said that Edinson Cavani has presented a proposal to renew his contract.
Cavani could receive a salary of up to seven million euro per year according to the new contract. The real problem, however, is that so far no club has submitted a proposal to activate his 63 million euro release clause. Meanwhile, for Napoli, the alternative is ready in Edin Dzeko of Manchester City, who seems set to leave the club.
Edinson Cavani said: “As a child I dreamed of playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona, ??but now I’m happy to be here. Rumors of my future does not distract me.”
