Neto made several crucial interventions to thwart Celta Vigo tonight and commanded his penalty area with confidence. The Barcelona shot-stopper had a few nervous moments in the second half but held on commendably to keep an impressive clean sheet.

Gerard Pique - 7/10

Gerard Pique was incredibly lucky not to be sent off in the first half as his last-ditch challenge rendered innocuous by Denis Suarez's off-side position. The Barcelona defender played through the pain in the second half and put in an immense display.

Clement Lenglet - 5.5/10

Clement Lenglet had a rare bad game for Barcelona and will be disappointed with both the fouls he conceded in the first half. The Frenchman might have been unlucky to see red for his foul but could have been more careful against Celta Vigo's runners.

Jordi Alba - 7.5/10

Jordi Alba provided a tremendous attacking threat for Barcelona on the left flank and tracked back well to prevent Celta Vigo from creating chances on the counter. The Catalan left-back has shown significant improvement under Ronald Koeman.

Sergi Roberto - 8.5/10

Barcelona had several leaders on the pitch tonight and Sergi Roberto's performance at right-back will have won him several accolades. Barcelona's utility man made several crucial clearances in the second half and capped off his excellent display with a well-taken goal in stoppage-time.

Frenkie de Jong - 8/10

With only ten men on the pitch, Barcelona needed resilience in the midfield and Frenkie de Jong stepped up to put in one of his best performances in a Blaugrana shirt. The Dutchman was the key to Barcelona's surprisingly positive performance in the second half and his ball-retention skills effectively negated his side's numerical disadvantage.

Barcelona's midfield was excellent tonight

Sergio Busquets - 7.5/10

Sergio Busquets looked back to his best tonight and complemented Frenkie de Jong brilliantly in Barcelona's midfield. The Catalan veteran found himself in surprisingly advanced positions on several occasions and managed a number of clever interceptions.

Philippe Coutinho - 8.5/10

Philippe Coutinho had a brilliant game at the heart of Barcelona's attacking midfield and picked up an assist for Ansu Fati's goal. The Brazilian maestro tormented his Celta Vigo counterparts and was unlucky not to get on to the scoresheet for Barcelona tonight.

Antoine Griezmann - 6/10

Antoine Griezmann is evidently running low on confidence at the moment and his performance today will not help his case. The French striker was at the end of an excellent pass from Frenkie de Jong but his first touch uncharacteristically let him down today.

Ansu Fati - 8.5/10

Ansu Fati is irrepressible for Barcelona at the moment. The 17-year-old prodigy scored his third goal of the season with an exceptional first touch and finish. The La Masia teenager was a nightmare to deal with and continues to grow in the first team under Ronald Koeman.

Lionel Messi - 8/10

Lionel Messi did not have a particularly impressive first half but came to life when his team needed him and put in a vintage display in the second half. The Argentine genius had an immense work-rate in the final third and his mesmerising dribbling skills resulted in two crucial goals for Barcelona in the second half.

Barcelona made use of their squad depth after Lenglet's red card

Ronald Araujo - 7.5/10

Ronald Araujo came on at the end of the first half to compensate for Clement Lenglet's absence and put in a mature performance alongside Gerard Pique in Barcelona's defence. The Uruguayan centre-back used his pace to good effect and is likely to start against Sevilla this weekend.

Pedri - 6.5/10

Pedri had plenty of defensive work to do in the midfield today and was unable to express himself in the final third for Barcelona.

Francisco Trincao - 6.5/10

Francisco Trincao made a few good runs on the right flank but was regularly outnumbered by Celta Vigo. The Portuguese winger has shown plenty of promise and may well get his chance over the weekend.
