UEFA Champions League
The semi-finals will take place later this April

The Champions League semi-final draw was held on Friday at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, and Manchester City are the last four teams remaining in the competition. Real will travel to City for the first leg while Atletico host Bayern Munich

Rules:

Similar to the previous round of draws all teams will have an even chance of facing each other. The team to be selected first out of the bowl will play the first leg at home. There are no restrictions as to which teams can face each other in the tie.

UEFA Champions League semi-final draw :

The first team to be picked out of the bowl was Manchester City. They will be playing the first leg at home against the winners of the 2013/14 season Real Madrid. The English side have had a dream run so far but will face their toughest task yet.

Atletico Madrid will be playing German giants Bayern Munich at home for the first leg. Bayern have reached the semi-finals of the competition in the last 4 years but Atletico Madrid will be boosted by the fact that they managed to knock out Barcelona in the quarter-finals.

Real Madrid avoid the prospect of playing Atletico in the semi-finals but we might still see the final hosting another Madrid derby. But Manchester City are tricky customers after having knocked out another heavyweight, Paris Saint-Germain in the previous round.

The first leg of matches will take place on the 26th and 27th of April while the second leg will be played on the 3rd and 4th of May.
